LIFE SUPPORT

Announces Formation of LIFE SUPPORT of West Virginia

Clackamas, OR – A group of pro-life citizens in the State of West Virginia has joined LIFE SUPPORT in its effort to stop state-paid abortions.  LIFE SUPPORT of West Virginia will commit to seeking laws that value life--from its very beginning to its natural end.

LIFE SUPPORT of WV will be headed up by Alice Click, the former WV State Director of Concerned Women for America (www.cwfa.org). Click has participated in the pro-life movement since 1980, and has lobbied in Charleston, WV and Washington, D.C. for laws that would protect the unborn and for women.  Click said:

"I am proud to participate in this tremendous, pro-life group, LIFE SUPPORT.  I wish to join with the national LIFE SUPPORT, which is fighting to bring about legislation that would protect all people of this country.   Regarding the “No Tax Money for Abortion Pledge” in Oregon, Click said this:

“The signers of the Declaration of Independence pledged their own lives, fortunes, and honor to guarantee inalienable rights for all of this country's citizens.   That timeless principle of the right to life obligates  each of us to apply this to every American, including the  unprotected disabled persons, the elderly, the weak and the infirm and protecting the defenseless babies--even to the very beginning cells of an embryo.”

Regarding the starvation/murder of Terri Schiavo, Ex. Director of LIFE SUPPORT of West Virginia  said:

“We invite other pro-lifers to join us in pursuit of a more compassionate society, and reject the notion that some lives are less worthy of protection than others--whether because of age or mental or physical condition.  We see a society that finds the unborn, disabled, poor, aging and dying are particularly vulnerable to injustices.  Our creator values human life highly.  Ultimate decisions regarding life and death belong to God.  Therefore, we hold that procedures designed to take life, including abortion, euthanasia and assisted suicide are an affront to God's design”    

Suzanne Brownlow, Communications Director of LIFE SUPPORT, and also a former State Director of CWA, says:  “Look out, West Virginia death-dealers!  CWA trained us State Directors to be fighters, and Alice Click is one of the most courageous and diligent fighters for moral values that I have ever met.  She will send those death-hungry abortionists and "mercy" killers scrambling when she fights against the murder of innocents.”
