Opposes Bills That Force Insurance

Companies to Cover “Birth Control”

Clackamas, OR – Life Support believes life begins at conception and should be protected. Therefore, it staunchly opposes HB 2497, SB756 and SB849, which requires health insurance coverage for birth control services that includes abortion and contraceptives.

David Brownlow, Executive Director, has asked the Oregon state lawmakers to oppose any bill that provides any help for a woman to kill her child. He says,

"Since these bills will mandate insurance coverage for "services" (which include abortion and contraceptives) to women forever, our legislators should take them quite serious. Abortionists are in the child-killing business and insurance companies should not be forced to be facilitators for these hit men."

Lon Mabon, Field Director for Life Support, says,

“"Pro-abortion advocates have used the terms 'pregnancy,' 'services,' and 'mental health' for years to end the lives of millions of unborn babies. These proposed bills mandate that insurance coverage companies pay for the continued shedding of the innocent blood of these babies on a permanent basis. Any legislator with an understanding of right and wrong or a heart containing any compassion, whatsoever, will stop this war waged on the unprotected lives of our unborn human children."
