Exposes The Partial Birth Abortion Hoax

Clackamas, OR - LIFE SUPPORT says that, despite what the mainstream pro-life organizations are claiming, the Supreme Court decision to uphold the ban on partial birth abortions is a complete hoax that will save NO lives.

The text of the partial birth abortion ban reveals the truth that this “ban” does not ban any abortions.  Instead, this law will only regulate the exact position the baby must be located within the birth canal in order to make the abortion a legal kill.

From the bill: “The term `partial-birth abortion' means an abortion in which the person performing the abortion deliberately and intentionally vaginally delivers a living fetus until, in the case of a head-first presentation, the entire fetal head is outside the body of the mother, or, in the case of breech presentation, any part of the fetal trunk past the navel is outside the body of the mother, for the purpose of performing an overt act that the person knows will kill the partially delivered living fetus;”

The ban says, in effect, that it is perfectly legal to murder a child that is mere inches away from being born, as long as the killing occurs before their entire head, or in the case of a breach delivery, any part of their stomach past the navel is outside the body of the mother.  And we call that a ban?  This is nothing short of regulated barbarism!

David Brownlow, Executive Director of LIFE SUPPORT, said, “This is not a ban. These are precise child positioning instructions - targeting coordinates - for the would-be assassin. There is nothing in the language that will prohibit the abortion as long as the child is killed at the right time and place.”

Brownlow continued, “An abortion ban that protects an unborn child only after its head is completely outside of its mother is a total fraud. It is hard to imagine how anyone could have even written a law that provided fewer restrictions on the killing of a human being. As such, it is highly unlikely that even one single child will be saved using the language of this ban."

LIFE SUPPORT believes that, as long we allow our consciences to be soothed by an abortion ban that merely defines the required location of a child's head or belly button prior to their execution, we will never begin to deal with the core issue - that nearly 50,000,000 Americans have been murdered in the abortion holocaust. It is time to move beyond symbolic measures and feel-good legislation.  We need to enact laws that protect the lives of those most vulnerable among us.
